• Necessity and Purpose of Research
","alignment":"left"}},{"type":"paragraph","data":{"text":"This study aims to explore ways to reduce various psychological problems experienced by modern Korean teenagers who focus on academic achievement. These include emotional problems such as anxiety or depression, and psychological maladaptation problems such as confusion on career identity. Specifically, it was intended to examine the impacts of adolescents’ participation in various after-school programs, other than academic studies, on self-discovery and emotional stability. Adolescence is a time when physical and emotional changes occur rapidly (Berk, 2007/2009), thus self-reliance should be prepared for adulthood.","alignment":"left"}},{"type":"paragraph","data":{"text":"","alignment":"left"}},{"type":"paragraph","data":{"text":"However, adolescents who have experienced childcare facilities or received help from non-home organizations, separately from their parents or relative, are not in conditions to be respected for the uniqueness and individuality.
